The Magic of Andre Rieu
The Magic of Andre Rieu is a collection of this latest hits. Recently Andre Rieu has begun his conquest of the UK with sell-out shows at the Royal Albert Hall and a hugely successful TV advertised CD compilation.
Andre Rieu passionately believes that his music is to be enjoyed to the fullest. He hates the idea of the audience being seperated from the performance. His concerts are famously informal and he actively encourages audience participation. He is happy for the audience to sing along and the atmosphere is reminiscent of the last night of the Proms.

Adam Faith, What do you want?
Adam Faith, What Do You Want?
The arrival of American rock and roll music in the latter half of the 50s brought considerable shockwaves to the
rather staid and predictable British music scene. Many of the recording artists who had previously reigned
supreme in the fledgling pop chart, were swept away in the tide to be replaced by a new generation of popular
music performers like Adam Faith who were quick to capitalise on this new popular demand for rock and roll. Not least among these new musical ’upstarts’ was the West London-born Adam Faith who kicked off his lengthy chart career with the catchy What Do You Want? and became one of the most popular performers of the day, with 24 chart entries, before eventually diversifying into acting and management, among other various lucrative activities.

Absolutely Elvis Presley
All original recordings digitally remastered Elvis Presley CD
CD1 - In 1954 after an inauspicious session, Phillips
invited local musicians Winfield “Scotty” Moore and Bill Black to audition Presley. Though not overly impressed, a studio session was planned. During a recording break, Presley began “acting the fool” first with Arthur Crudup’s “That’s All Right (Mama)”. Phillips got them all to restart and began taping. This was the sound he had been looking for. The group recorded other songs, including Bill Monroe’s “Blue Moon of Kentucky”, “Baby Let’s Play House”, I’m Left, You’re Right, She’s Gone” and many more.
CD2 - 1956 was the year of Rock & Roll and Elvis was unstoppable. His covers of classics like Tutti Frutti, Lawdy Miss Clawdy, Long Tall Sally and Rip It Up remain unrivalled.
CD3 - features the complete 1957 recordings including the worldwide million selling hits Jailhouse Rock,
All Shook Up, Teddy Bear and Too Nice.

The Squadronaires
The Squadronaires, one of the leading British bands of the 1940s, first came into being in direct response to an executive decision taken by Wing Commander Rudy O’Donnell (Director of the RAF’s Central Band Wing) to recruit professional dance-band musicians. O’Donnell rightly believed that dance bands would boost morale on a par with other military ensembles.

The Melody Lingers On The Best Of British Light Music 1952 - 1960
Our second nostalgic visit to the 1950s Light Music back-catalogue revives further tunes that were once part-and-parcel of radio listeners’ average daily fare. While some of these tunes were specifically linked in their day with now-defunct radio programmes, others might still have been heard as recently as the late 1970s.
