An Eco Friendly Delta

At Delta we are actively looking for ways that we can be more environmentally friendly and reduce our carbon footprint across all areas of the business

On our last quarterly collection alone we recycled 1.55 tons of cardboard and paper which equates to saving 26 trees, 10850 Gallons of water, 3 Cubic Yards of Landfill and 6355 KW Hours of Electricity. I hope you agree this is quite an impressive achievement for an SME.

To decrease our impact on the environment even further, we have decided to remove the cardboard slipcases from our Bygone Days, Ceol,  Essence,  Performance, Purely &  Xtra labels.

This was after finding out from the Department for Rural Affairs National Statistics, that paper and card make up about 41% of the typical household recycling bin. We believe that our cardboard slipcases contribute to this waste and have therefore decided to release and convert the above labels in jewel case form.

Our releases will continue to be fully loaded with content and the Xtra & Performance labels retain the sleeve notes on the single artist releases to add to the experience. We hope that you agree that whilst the design, packaging and concept are important, it is the music that should always remain the number one focus and that these release still represent exceptional value for money!
