Eddie Stobart- Trucks & Trailers- The Complete Series 1-4
The Eddie Stobart fleet of trucks are a familiar sight to anybody who has driven on the roads of Europe in recent decades. The Eddie Stobart company is one of the most recognisable haulage firms in the world, and employs more than 5,000 people, including 3,000 drivers, who cover the distance to the moon and back every day three times over, making deliveries every 20 seconds. This DVD collection features the complete first, second, third and fourth series of the Channel 5 documentary Eddie Stobart – Trucks and Trailers, in which the international transport company provide exclusive access to its trucks and the people that keep them trucking.
It’s pedal to the metal as the truckers venture deep into Europe in immense convoys, while back at home they rise to the challenge of delivering everything from 26 tonnes of ice to thoroughbred horses. Some unique additions are also rolled out to join the elite Stobart fleet and it’s full speed ahead for their Rail and Air divisions. Even when the going gets tough, the wheels must keep on turning 24/7. If anyone can do it, the truckers can!
Eddie Stobart- Trucks & Trailers 5
Available to order from Deltamusic.co.uk and Amazon.co.uk
The iconic green and red wagons are back on the road as the hugely popular behind-the-scenes series following the trucks and truckers of haulage giants Eddie Stobart returns. It’s full speed ahead in Stobart’s Rail and Air divisions as the company’s reach grows ever larger. They even combine forces to move an airplane fuselage and wings from Bristol to Southend airport and battle the elements with new de-icing demon “Cand-ice”. But trucking remains at the heart of the business and the addition of the new car transporter division means even greater challenges for our truckers.
There are car delivery deadlines as the new registration is released; fighting the weather to transport logs from the frozen forests of Scotland to the Kent coastline, and the end of an era as the Crick depot relocates up the road to the new site in Rugby. With loads as diverse as clay pellets and lager cans, and locations as different as the Royal Opera House in London to the highlands of Scotland our intrepid truckers keep on trucking.
