Larger-than-life (he stood 6 foot and three inches tall and weighed over 20 stone) iconic blues singer, guitarist and harmonica player Howlin’ Wolf was also gifted with a voice that was more than a match for his towering physical stature. Wolf is now acknowledged as one of the leading Chicago blues performers of his era, ranking in stature alongside such other celebrated blues names as Muddy Waters and Sonny Boy Williamson.
