Classic Vintage and Post-War Cars
This programme, filmed in 2004, features a celebration of the once-mighty British car industry, as we visit shows across the country to catch a glimpse of some of the most beautiful and legendary cars the UK has ever produced. Even after WW2, Britain retained a 25% share of the world car market and our products were admired the world over. Many of the most successful cars of the era appear in this programme – cars with evocative names like Wolseley, Alvis, Humber, Triumph, Riley and many more.
Classic Vintage Sports Cars – Post-Vintage Thoroughbreds
This programme, filmed in 2003, contains more action from the Shuttleworth and Nuffield Trophies race meeting at Cadwell Park, featuring the races that are every bit as competitive as they would have been in these amazing cars’ contemporary era. The cars covered read like a who’s who of the truly great racing machines; C- and D-Type Jaguar, Lotus-Cooper, Morgan, Willment and Rejo, plus a special section dedicated to the Formula Junior and Formula 3 cars of the 1950s.
