Delta
Leisure Group will handle all UK sales
and distribution for a range of games from Pants on Fire Games Ltd. Last year Pants
On Fire became the first toy company to secure investment in the
BBC’s Dragons’ Den. The investment of £50k, from Duncan Bannatyne and Peter
Jones, has allowed Pants On Fire to launch two fully licensed Marmite board games
– Love
It or Hate It and Who Put the Marmite In The Fridge? –
both of which now form part of the collection handled by Delta.
Other
Pants on Fire games to be distributed by Delta include the cheeky You
Cannae Push Yer Granny Off The Bus, the RSPB-licensed bird-spotting Wing
It, and fib-based trivia game, Liar Liar.
Pants
on Fire’s Richard McLuckie, comments, “We're delighted to be partnering with Delta. They’re
an expanding, dynamic company, totally focused on their customers’ needs and
they are very excited about our range. As well as helping us with multinational
retailers, their extensive distribution network will allow our games to reach
parts of the market where we could previously only scratch the surface of. It
wasn't a difficult decision to make.”
“Pants on Fire have produced an intriguing
collection of games all with a quirky and fun tone to them, making them the
perfect addition to our range. Consumer awareness of the games is sky high
after their Dragon’s Den appearance, allowing the games to really stand out
within any retailer’s games offering. We can’t wait to get started.”
