ReplyDeleteHi, thank you for the question, as of yet I cannot comment on future releases. As you can imagine it’s a business decision if series 2 sells well then there is every chance series 3 will follow.
ReplyDeleteThe format does change so theoretically it "may" be easier but I can’t really confirm, it’s a little too early.
To me, as a "life long" Chuckle Vision fan, it would have made better business sense to have released the known format first i.e. series 3 onwards and then released series 1 & 2 later-on for the Chuckle Brothers media/memorabilia collectors.

ReplyDeleteWe release many DVDs in one year and generally as Neil stated previously, if sales are good for series 2, series 3 may follow.
Series 4 would usually depend on the sales of season 3 and so on, although saying that your comment about releasing two DVDs in one year is not ruled out completely, nor is it confirmed.
It is too early to tell how and what seasons would be released in the future for the time being.

ReplyDeleteApologies for the delay in replying, It’s been very hectic around here, with great new product launches, moving premises etc. With a number of major projects in the pipeline we are committed to releasing new titles cater for all tastes, especially in areas where we are not represented. Series Three of Chucklevision remains of interest to us – as do subsequent series – but, for the time being, it is on the back burner. But that is not to say we will never release it…………………………”

If you release one series per year it will take at least another 20 years to complete it!
ReplyDeleteIt seems to me that you could easily get an entire series on one disc so you're wasting money by spreading them across three!
Series 1 and 2 were not considered 'classics' and won't demonstrate a fair demand for purchase as they weren't styled in the familiar format that fans love.

hi its been a while since digital delta have released any information about chucklevision series 3 and onwards and am starting to get concerned for the franchise as many fans are as well and would like to see a release this year for series 3 and hope to see more series either this year on dvd or the following year as I am waiting patiently for a release and would like some responsible feedback instead of pushing it under the rug and saying it is a interest or a business decision and is on the backburner. so is series 3 of chucklevision and onwards coming out and if so please state a RELEASE DATE for confirmation to me and the many other fans who are left in the shadows waiting PATIENTLY.
