Classic Vintage Sports Cars - Early Vintage

Founded in 1934, the Vintage Sports Car Club is home to thousands of enthusiastic members, dedicated to restoring and driving their GN, Frazer-Nash, Bugatti, Austin, Wolseley and Maserati sports cars, to name a few. Filmed in 2003 at the Shuttleworth and Nuffield Trophies race meeting at Cadwell Park, this fascinating programme features many of the greatest sports car marques of all time, as well as interviews with their owners, only too happy to impart the stories behind the history of their superb vehicles.

This programme, filmed in 2003, contains more action from the Shuttleworth and Nuffield Trophies race meeting at Cadwell Park, featuring the races that are every bit as competitive as they would have been in these amazing cars’ contemporary era. The cars covered read like a who’s who of the truly great racing machines; C- and D-Type Jaguar, Lotus-Cooper, Morgan, Willment and Rejo, plus a special section dedicated to the Formula Junior and Formula 3 cars of the 1950s.
